Beijing.. 4 years later...

4 years since my first visit, here're some current observations on the city

• now home to China's first Apple Temple™
• decrowned as the spitting capital of the world (thanks to new measures implemented right before the olympics)
• people are perceivably wealthier
• Beijing drivers still drive with millimeter precision
• traffic lights never meant much to the drivers
• SPR is the new starbucks
• There're more Subways (the restaurant) than 7-11
• Taxi drivers continue driving me to the wrong places despite my PERFECT MANDARIN

and finally, 開浪褲 is still in season among babies :P
